Marriage contracts must be registered in the Civil Registry where the marriage is recorded. If, in addition to the marriage contracts, you wish to liquidate the previous matrimonial economic regime, it is advisable to register such liquidation in the Property Registry where the assets are located.

You must provide the following documentation for processing:

A) Before the marriage:

- IDs of the spouses

- Date and place of the marriage

B) After the marriage:

- IDs of the spouses and family book

- If there are liquidations of community property, the property titles, cadastral references (latest IBI receipt), bank account balances or vehicle registration certificates, the value assigned to each asset and the form of allocation to each spouse.

- If there is any outstanding loan, the amount pending and who will be responsible for it.
