Signature legitimations are a particularly important category of testimony in which the notary certifies the identity and details of the signer, as well as the date of the signature.

Requirements and procedure:

- To legitimize signatures by presence, it is necessary that the interested person go to the notary with their original ID to sign.

- To legitimize signatures by identity with those that appear on the DNI, the signed document and the original DNI of the interested party must be provided.
